April News

What happened to March?
I think March was one of those months I trudged through with my head down. Finally...it's April! I hit my deadline of March 31st. The snow is beginning to melt (just beginning) and I have some cool new news for you!

Two books are edited and 'in the can'. One will be released by the end of spring. I don't have an exact date yet. I'll post it here as soon as I know. The other comes out on the first Tuesday in October. I may even have a third book coming out this year! Stay tuned!!

Easter is an annual tradition now. My number one fan and I go out for Easter brunch! This year her daughter is joining us. I'm looking forward to it as I always do. But this year brunch will be served in a library! I'll take pictures. Watch my facebook page for posts.

Later this month, I'll be boarding Air Canada and going to the first ever reader/writer conference in Canada! The event is called Romancing the Capitol and it takes place in Ottawa. (Which is the capitol of Canada. Get it?)

If you happen to be there (or near by) there's a big book signing open to the public on Saturday April 18th. I hope you'll stop in and say 'hi'! Maybe even get a cool new book signed by its author.

Other than my annual mamogram, that's about all I have scheduled for April. Have a great one, everybody!

Feb news

Yikes! it's halfway through Feb and I forgot to post this month's news. Oh well. No excuses. But if you were to ask why, I'd say, snow; travel; snow; deadlines; and more snow. (You gotta love New England.)

Anyway...There are a couple of important announcements to make.

First: Gods Gone Wild with the bonus story by Terry Spear will be going away at the end of this month. (Boo hoo.) But Dalton and I will see that it's republished with our two related novellas. Maybe we'll include some other bonus material. Stay tuned. We'll all be surprised later.

Next and not least: How to Date a Dragon is on sale from now until Feb 27th! Woo Hoo! This is the book that inspired a whole new series. Boston Dragons has been contracted by my mass market publisher Sourcebooks, and the fist book will be released Oct. 6th.

So, there's plenty of time to read it later, but you'll want to buy it now!! (To tell your friends, here's a handy pre-worded tweet with a link.)

January News

I'm escaping winter, not 1, not 2, but 3 times this year!
Wahoo! Way to book vacations. So...that means I'll be making odd appearances in unusual places. I predict long walks on sandy beaches and an inevitable sunburn. But that's all I can tell you for now.
Of course I'll be writing too! Have laptop: will travel.

December News

Welcome to the Holidays! I've kept my schedule pretty simple on purpose to decrease holiday stress. Even so, I have a couple of superb events to tell you about.

Romancing the Capitol

I'll be giving a talk to the Rhode Island Romance Writers called Writers Be Crazy; Secrets to the Creative Mind. This will be my first time presenting this material but hopefully not my last. I'm looking forward to it.

Beginning Oct. 6th, Blog Hop!

Sept 7th is National Sausage Day and I'm celebrating with a blog at Snark Mommy Reads as part of her Snarktember celebration. In honor of the day, I'm talking about my July release with Dalton Diaz and Terry Spear-- Gods Gone Wild. Talk about a sausage-fest! LOL Check it out. You'll love it!

Sept 20th is my day to blog at Casablanca Authors. Who knows what I'll be talking about by then! LOL

It probably won't be the new release or sale--not just because that'll be old news by then, but because this is the author's blog of my traditional publishing house. I may have a sneak peek of my next dragon book for you! 

Speaking of that book, my deadline to turn it the finished manuscript is Sept 30th. No, you don't have to keep that in the back of your mind, but I sure do! I wish I could mention the title, but it hasn't been decided yet. LOL. Stay tuned!

Oh! I have one more event before the end of this busy month. I'm participating in The Romance Reviews month long party. (See my home page for details on this and Snarktember.) August News

Happy August! We've had a gorgeous summer here in New England. I hope you're enjoying yours too.

News! News! News!
I have a new release coming up. It's book 2 in The Cupcake Coven series called Tug of Attraction. It will release on Sept 1st. I'm telling you now so you can put it on your calendar!

Here's what you can look forward to:
