Happy New Year!
For me, it's always a happy new year. Mr. Amazing and I celebrate our HEA on both 12/31 and 1/1. We were married at midnight, so we don't know exactly which day (or year) is our actual wedding date! But, hey... We've been completely happy with each other for 22 years. Now that's pretty great!

On to the news. Sourcebooks offered me a contract for another 5 books! Yippeeee! I'm gainfully employed for another 2 1/2 years. (Seriously. It takes about 6 months to write, critique, self-edit, and turn in a clean, polished book.) We have to sell a whole lot of books to make an hourly wage that most people would find laughable. Yes, authors are a little insane.

And here's an unblievable bargain for you! The Cupcake Coven just went on sale for $0.99. Yup. You can get an entire novel, which took about 6 months to create and edit, for less than a buck. Sheesh. I'll have to sell a boatload of them!!!

 
Next up...
Book 1 in the Boston Dragons series releases in April! It's all edited and ready to go... It's even available for preorders now! Look for it at your favorite online bookstore. The cover is so yummy I'll have to post it everywhere! Starting right here:

Dec News

Oh, damn. Here it is, mid-December and I haven't posted my news. Oh well. That's December for you...
I've been busy. I have been arranging ads in online magazines and review sites to suggest that readers might like to ask Santa for their Fall in Love with New England registration fee to be paid. It's on sale for $75 right now, so don't delay!

You know what else is on sale? My book How to Date  Dragon--and it has a spin off series coming!

From now until December 31. How to Date a Dragon (Flirting with Fangs Book 2) is a part of the Kindle December Holiday Store sale. Even though it is a Kindle promotion, the price of the e-book will still drop to $1.99 across all platforms (not just Amazon) during this time.

About that spin off series...
It's called Boston Dragons and begins with I Dream of Dragons in April 2016.

October News

We're celebrating Mr. Amazing's birthday, and he is taking 12 well deserved days off. That means I don't know where I'll be or what I'll be doing for most of those days. It's a staycation, but that doesn't mean we're staying put. He has a 'honey-do' list to work on, but I'll want him to have some fun too. His mom and I are kidnapping--I mean, taking him to lunch and a movie on his actual birthday. Other than that, who knows. We're spontaneous sometimes.

Later in the month I have a planned event I want everyone to know about. A book signing at Barnes and Nobel in Salem, NH, on Oct. 24th from 1 to 4 p.m.  And here's the shocker...they asked me! Usually mid-list authors have to beg for book signings at B&N.

In all month news...

September Update

Monday, 9/28/15 is the release date for Tug of Attraction! Book 2 in the Love Spells Gone Wrong series! Yay, that's today! It's one of my faves and The Endometriosis Foundation will receive part of my royalties. My heroine Brigit has endo, so this isn't your typical romance! Check it out (please.)

September News

I have an exciting month coming up!

Several months ago I joked on my facebook fan page that I should go to Ireland to do research for my upcoming Boston Dragon Novels. After all, the first book begins in Ireland and my characters (and thus my readers) make trips back and forth throughout.

So I mentioned it as a joke. Then I realized I've been to almost every place I've set a book. Just soaking up the atmosphere for a week or so and picking up details of special places helps make my novels richer as a result.

Yeah, so the joke was on me. My readers began their per pressure campaigns. 'You should go!' and 'Absolutely, you should check it out!' I mentioned this to my dear daughter, whom I call Little Miss Amazing, and she said, "That's next on my bucket list!"

Well, we haven't had a long mother-daughter trip since she was 12 and I took her back to Colorado to show her where she was born. We spent a week, saw more than I did in the two years I lived there, and had a ball. We're close anyway--more like friends, now that she's an adult--so it should be a lot of fun.  Someone (I can't remember who) said 'Never travel with someone you don't love.' Good advice. I've done that too. Ugh.

We're both so excited we can hardly stand it! I'll have loads of pictures to share with my facebook fans when I get back! If you want to see them, just 'like' my page and begin following the posts soon.

And if that's not enough, I have a new release at the end of this month! Tug of Attraction will be coming out 9/28/15. It should be available for pre-orders soon. I'm donating 15% of my royalties to The Endometriosis Foundation of America. If you want to know more about this unspoken of disease, read the book! The heroine suffers from it, and that makes this an unusual romance. My editor said, "I love, love, love it!" I hope you will too!

August News

What happened to July?
I know...it went by in a blur of fun activities. I hope your summer is as entertaining as mine. Actually, I have a few plans for August too, but it shouldn't be quite as frantic.

Today, August 1st, I'll be enjoying a tea party at the home of the incomparable author Hannah Howell. I look forward to socializing with author friends I don't get to see a lot, and having my annual brownie! LOL Seriously, folks...someone brings the best brownies and they're my favorite food in the whole wide world.

Then it's business as usual (editing this, writing that, brainstorming another...) until Saturday, August 15th. Then I have a booksigning at Magika...a wonderful witch/new age shop in Salem, MA. It's perfect for signing my new release The Cupcake Coven. I'll have copies of my other paranormal books too.
