December News

Wow! How did Dec 1st get past me for so long? Ah! The Holiday's, that's why. I hope you're enjoying the season and aren't stressing out too much.

I've been busy! Not only am I writing more new books, but I'm rewriting and will be rereleasing some old favorites soon!

Jan 3rd will see two of those books--and one of those books contains three related stories!
First, let's talk about my all-time best-selling erotic romance, Vampire Vintage. I just uploaded it and barring any glitches, it will be available on Jan. 3rd. Check out the gorgeous new cover flat made by the talented Amanda Walker!

Next, also on January 3rd, you'll have access to those three related stories I mentioned. Life by Lizette, Death by Delilah, and Giggles by Gabby are all going into one novel sized edition called Immortally Yours. Here's that cover, done by the much less talented me.
Perhaps I'll have Amanda redo it. I'm new to Indie publishing and taking baby steps. I'd love to know what you think? Spend the money and go to a professional? Or handle my own cover when I can?
So--anyway...
Appearances this month... Dec 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, I'll be chatting at night Owl Reviews. They've always been very kind to me in reviews, so how could I say no? I hope you'll RSVP and be eligible for prizes.
Reader RSVP Link:

RSVP Benefits:
* The RSVP gives your reader’s entry into the evening’s prizes (must be an active chatter at the event)
* A reminder emails before the event starts.
I don't know about you, but I need reminders these days! It's so easy to space something important.

Other than that, I just have the usual holiday family hoopla. I'm very lucky to like everyone of my family members and look forward to seeing them. I hope you have an awesome holiday too!
HUGE HOLIDAY HUGS!

November News

It's Novembuuurrrrrr...
Yup. It's getting colder, and that means more time to sit by the fire and read! Or maybe it does for you. For me? Not so much. I've got a ton of stuff going on.

First let me just say the New England reader/author conference in mid October was fantastic! SO many readers and authors had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to next year. As am I. So, planning has already begun. Our permanent website is under construction. The conference committee is fine-tuning and incorporating the little improvements we learned from this year. And soon, registration will open!
Where can you get up to the minute news? Try our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/973500356041070/  or if you can't find the answer to your question there, email me: ash@ashlynchase.com.

So, what am I doing other than that? I'm writing! Book 1 in the new Phoenix Brother's series is coming along. And at the same time, I'm editing the last book in the Boston Dragon's series. Never Dare a Dragon comes out this summer, but I need to have the last drop of polish on it by November 28th.

So, is that all? Working on 2 series at the same time? Um...nope.
I got the rights back to all of my Ellora's Cave books. A dozen in all. I'm still proud of those books and I want them to be available. So...I'm sending a couple out to interested publishers, asking my agent to shop a couple, and I'm trying to learn this friggin' thing called self-publishing to reformat and republish the others under my own imprint, Imagination Unlimited LLC. I'm so clueless there's going to be a steeeep learning curve! LOL

Oh! And guess what? I have a new assistant! (Thank goodness!!!) Welcome Dianne Donovan!
So, with that update, I'll leave you and flit off to one of my many simultaneous projects.

October news

I'm late posting October's news, because I've been consumed with the conference. Which conference you ask? The Fall in Love with New England Romance Reader/Author Conference!
I'm getting ready for a fabulous weekend Oct. 14 and 15!

You're welcome to attend our big booksigning on Saturday, Oct. 15th from 2-5 p.m. Manchester, NH
Best Western Plus Executive Court Inn. Route 28.

Now some sad news... Ellora's Cave closed its doors this month. My EC books (12 of them!) will not be available again until after Jan 1st. The silver lining (literally) is that I may make some money on these books at last.

August news

I'm SO excited! I have two releases soon. Aug 22 and Sept 6th. 1 Contemporary. 1 paranormal. Both hot comedies!

Why so close together? Because I'm a moron.  Nah, I was just really excited to make Love Cuffs available again! Dalton Diaz and I worked hard to update it and relrelease it via my company Imagination Unlimited. It was great before, and it's even greater now! We love it and hope you will too!

All the links and summaries are on my homepage.

My Wild Irish Dragon was scheduled for preorders by my publisher, and I'm just as excited (if not more) about this brand new book. It's book 2 in the Boston Dragons series!

In this book you'll meet a cool new band of brothers in the Boston paranormal population. A legendary fire fighting family of Phoenixes! (Say that 5 times fast.)

I lovingly call my Sourcebooks series, the series that never ends. These are available in Mass market paperback on the shelves at Barnes and Noble, etc. when newly released. And they are all still available in eformats as well as paperbacks at all etailers.

For some reason, it's always book 2 that inspires a new spin-off series...
Strange Neighbors was the first book in the first series by the same name. It was Book 2-The Werewolf Upstairs-that inspired the next series Flirting with Fangs.

Book 2 in the Flirting with Fangs series-How to Date a Dragon-inspired the Boston Dragons series.

And now, Book 2 My Wild Irish Dragon has inspired the upcoming series The Phoenix Brothers. I just finished the final book in the Boston Dragons series and I'm just starting to write book 1 in the brand new series now.

I wonder if book 2 will inspire yet another series? LOL. We'll have to wait and see.

July News

Hi, everyone!
I hope your summer is going well. For me it seems to be zooming by.
I'm almost finished proofreading my 3rd book in the Boston Dragons series. Still no title. Oh, well. We'll come up with one before it's released in 2017.

Meanwhile, book one I Dream of Dragons is available everywhere, and book two My Wild Irish Dragon is up for pre-orders! Make me famous. Order a million copies. LOL. (Just kidding. One will do.)
 And some other exciting news...
Love Cuffs will be re-released in late August! Dalton Diaz and I wrote this one together. We're just making a few tweaks and giving it a brand new cover. Here's a sneak peek at the image. What do you think?

And please don't forget to sign up for the first ever New England romance reader/author conference...
We're planning a facebook party with all kinds of prizes, including a free conference registration!
Plus one of our attending authors will hold a contest each week until the conference starts!
Watch our page for details! Our facebook group

Have a great July! It will be fall before you know it!

June News

I have something new and exciting to tell you about! But first...updates!
The next Boston Dragons release is ready to go for September. My Wild Irish Dragon is all edited and 'in the can' as they say in Hollywood.

My current work in progress is coming together nicely--only about two chapters left to write, and I should actually get to enjoy my summer this year! Woo Hoo!

Oh, wait! I do have a bit of new news. My writing partner, Dalton Diaz and I received the rights back to one of our books and another short story. We're planning to republish those. I'm a complete dummy when it comes to Indie publishing, but I've been listening to others with more experience in that area, and I think I've learned just enough to be brave give it a go.

I've been trying my hand at using Canva to make book covers. It's not that hard, but it's not easy either! I have a newfound respect for cover artists, even when they use stock photography! Here's my first attempt. Tell me what you think...

Okay...and now for the exciting new thing! I don't know about you, but I love being read to. I always have--ever since I was a kid. So, I'll be reading to you! Look for the monthly segment right here on this blog. You might catch it in other places too...if I can figure out how to post it to social media without breaking the internet!

May News

I Dream of Dragons has been out for 3 weeks, and it's getting great reviews! That's so encouraging for an author. We put ourselves out there, and then bite our fingernails until feedback arrives. Thank you so much for your 5's, 4.5's, Top Picks, etc! I guess I'll keep writing.

And here's some exciting news... Book 2; My Wild Irish Dragon is available for preorders! Look for it on Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, kobo.com, or wherever you buy your books! If you buy paperbacks, it will be on the shelves in early September. Be sure your bookstore or library has ordered some and will save you a copy!

This month I'm working on book 3 in the Boston Dragon's series. It's almost finished! We've been kicking around titles, but nothing has been decided thus far. Maybe you can help. I've asked readers on my facebook page to make suggestions. You haven't liked my facebook fan page yet? Horrors! Simply go to the front page of my website ashlynchase.com, and click! Easy-peasy. While you're there, sign up for my newsletter. I only send one when I have a new release, so don't worry. I won't clog up your inbox.

You know what else is encouraging? Seeing all the plants, trees, and flowers growing and blooming again!  Have a beautiful May!

March News

Well, I'm typing with my left hand, due to a terrible yoga accident and the resulting tendinitis, so this will be brief -- and undoubtedly full of typos. Naw, I'll edit before I hit the 'publish' button, because you deserve the best I can do.

This month is for promoting my brand new release, Out of the Broom Closet, which finishes the Love Spells Gone Wrong trilogy. I love the video trailer I had made to present the series arc.
Find it here:   https://youtu.be/wJHeY2mjIuE

Usually I give links to the books at each etailer, but I'm going to ask you to save my poor wrist by typing the title or my name into your search engine.  Thank you for helping me out!

I hope next month I'll be better and can tell you all about my new series, Boston Dragons, which begins with the release of I Dream of Dragons April 5th. Also I will be attending the big RT conference 4/13 - 4/17. More on where you can find me later...be aware, that if you catch me at Club RT, I'll give you a pot of gold! Guess what new creature will be appearing in the 1st Dragon book!

I'd better go now. The ice on my wrist is melting and I'm getting wet. LOL

February News

A new release is coming soon!
The 3rd and final book in the Love Spells Gone Wrong series comes out on 2/29...Leap Day!
Here's the cover reveal! Drum roll...
Symbol crash!

Wiccan priestess Michele Erikson won't harm others with spells, even if it's the only way to save herself from a crazed stalker wielding black magic, who has chased her from Portsmouth, NH to Daytona Beach FL.

Ex-NFL player turned bodyguard Vic Matthews didn't believe in magic until late in the game. Once he understands the power at Michele’s fingertips, he must convince her to use everything in her arsenal to save herself.

He'll lose Michele, his part-fey client and lover, if he can't persuade her that self-defense won’t compromise her Wiccan principles. It's time to come out of the broom closet and come out fighting.

I hope you all have a wonderful February!
If you're cold, curl up with a good book! You'll still be cold, but you'll have a book!
